Our Story
Meeples Group
At Meeples Group, we stand for renewal and innovation.
Founded in 2021 by Floris Toorenburg and Rients-Auke Rienstra, Meeples has grown from a two-person startup in an attic room into a scale-up with over 35 employees, processing up to 2,000 orders per day from our 4,800 m² warehouse in Zeewolde, The Netherlands.
In just three years, we have moved from a small storage space in Swifterbant to our own premises in Dronten, and now to a state-of-the-art facility at Ambachtsweg 37 in Zeewolde – with capacity for more than 5,000 pallet positions. Along the way, we were awarded Talent Company of the Year 2023 by the municipality of Dronten.
We continuously strive to expand our network and services, ensuring that publishers, retailers, and consumers around the world can always find the right board game – and get it delivered smoothly.
Our Mission
Our Vision
“At Meeples, we look at board games differently. Board games are created with a lot of love, but there are also many different board games. We believe that there is a perfect board game for everyone in this world. Therefore, we focus on making the path to the perfect board game as easy and simple as possible. In addition to our wide and diverse range, which is constantly being updated, we are building a digital shopping assistant that will help you make the right choice in a simple way.”
